Wanda McDowell- Brisbon, AKA, Mickielyn... Mickielyn is a Philadelphia native who started performing at the age of 8 years old. She graduated from The Creative & Performing Arts High School and was also a student at the renowned Philadanco Dance Company where she studied ballet, Modern, Jazz and Settlement music as well as piano and theory. With a strong passion for acting, Mickielyn traveled with The Young Philadelphians, an International acting group. With her 6-octave voice range, Mickielyn has performed with Patti LaBelle, The Philadelphia Orchestra, the group After 7, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clark and the Gamble family of Philly International Records. Mickielyn has mastered portraying the greats such as Whitney Houston, Sara Vaughn, Teena Marie, Aretha Franklin and of course Chaka Khan and Patti LaBelle. Mickielyn is so thankful for her talents and the ability to perform at the highest level on every performance no matter the song or the legend that she is portraying. With Mickielyn the performance must be done right and the music must be tight! Mickielyn will captivate you from note to note, that is because she is the entertainer's entertainer!
